If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, it is easy to put together your own ‘one second a day’ video for the end of the year (or whichever timeframe you like). In the Photos app (iOS), I create a Smart Album with the conditions that Photo is actually a video and the Date capture is in the range of between the first and last day of the year. After, in iMovies, I select aforementioned album to use as the project’s media.
