Hadestown

The story is one of my all-time favourites -- knowing exactly how it ends and feeling it anyway never gets old. The staging at the Carré was pretty awesome too. The music didn't fully land for me though; a touch too repetitive, and some moments felt like they were reaching for a rhyme rather than earning one. Minor complaints from someone who absolutely could not do what those performers did, still a really enjoyable night with Vicki and Mixie!
